Katimavik host communities and partners

Program year 2006-2007

This year, 957 participants are volunteering for more than 700 community partner organizations in 87 host communities across Canada.

The volunteer work projects that participants take part in are very diverse.
Here are some examples: building hiking trails, working at food banks, teaching people to read or teaching a second language to children, organizing festivals, restoring heritage sites, working for community radio and television stations, doing office work, providing companionship for the elderly, children and people with learning disabilities… and more!
