How to apply?
First, fill out the online registration form
Once you have completed the online registration form you must print, fill out and send us now your candidate’s file. It on takes a few simple steps:
 Print the attached candidate’s file (PDF file). The first document is an 8-page medical form to be completed with your family doctor. Call immediately to book an appointment. If you can’t get an appointment within two weeks, ask to be put on a waiting list. If you can’t get on a waiting list, call Katimavik. We’ll help you think of something.
Make a photocopy of your birth certificate, passport, citizenship card or permanent resident card. We’ll need proof of your age and permanent resident/citizen status.
Complete the Questionnaire form. All the information you need is on our website’s FAQ section.
Now you need to get a criminal record check done. Call your local police station to find out what you need to do and how long it will take. If it will take more than two weeks, go ahead and send Katimavik the rest of your application documents while your criminal record check is being processed. You can still be selected without it.

Someone from Katimavik will call you soon after we receive your application documents to offer you a reserved place in either the October 15th or 22nd program. Once all the spaces are full, all eligible candidates will be placed on a waiting list. Historically, all candidates on our waiting lists have eventually been offered spaces in the program. We can almost guarantee you’ll get in! What are you waiting for?
