About the Katimavik Foundation

Our mission

The Katimavik Foundation aims to organize fundraising activities in order to contribute to the personal development of young Canadians, as well as the dynamic character of Canadian society, through its national volunteer service program.

The government of Canada, through the Department of Canadian Heritage, provides financial support to Katimavik. Our organization also pursues funding diversification initiatives and seeks to forge new partnerships to broaden the scope of its program across the country.

Through fundraising activities launched during the next year, we will explore the viability of various funding projects, as well as the possibility that our participants become involved in such efforts.

Become a Katimavik Foundation donor!

Encourage young Canadians to become active citizens by ensuring Katimavik’s long-term viability! Through your donation, you help Katimavik’s mission come to life!

Where do your donations go?

Your support of the Katimavik Foundation allows young Canadians to:
  • actively participate in the implementation of community projects across the country;
  • participate in the development and growth of countless Canadian communities;
  • cultivate the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values they need to play an active role in society;
  • gain meaningful work experience and professional skills that will help them find employment.

Make a donation!
